House District 9:
Diane Denk of Kennebunk has swept her opponent, Laurie Dobson of Kennebunkport in the Democratic party for House District 9. With all prescincts – Biddeford , Kennebunk and Kennebunkport reporting, Denk has earned 591 votes to Dobson’s 126 in unofficial totals. The winner goes up against incumbent Republican Stedmen Seavey in November. This story will be updated when Kennebunk results become available.
House District 15:
Margaret O’Neil has bested Kathie Purdy in unofficial totals in House District 15, part of Saco. O’Neil earned 380 votes to Purdy’s 354 for the Democratic nod. O’Neil will square off against Republican Mark Alan Bedell in the November race for the open seat.
