
She was born in Biddeford on Aug. 23, 1936, the daughter of Jean Marcel and Emma B. Beaupre Gagnon.
She was educated in Biddeford schools and graduated from the former St. Joseph High School with the Class of 1955.
On Sept. 5, 1959, she married Richard A. Nadeau in Biddeford. He died May 1, 1982. On July 12, 1986, she married Andre F.E. Exposito in Biddeford. He died on Oct. 17, 2001.
Yvette was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the DAV, a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Biddeford Senior Citizens.
Surviving are: one daughter, Pauline Traynor of Auburn; one son, John Nadeau of Portland; one stepson, Roger Exposito of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; one stepdaughter, Rachel Caya and husband, Adrien, of Biddeford; three grandchildren, Sarah Underhorn, Karen Underhorn and Christopher Gagnon Lopez; two step-grandchildren, Cheryl Ouellette and husband, Todd, and Steven Caya; two step- great-grandchildren Abigail and Rose Caya; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 5- 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016, at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
