North Saco Congregational Church will host a bean supper in the church basement from 4:30-6 p.m. The church is located at the corner of Flag Pond, Heath and Rocky Hill roads in Saco. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. The menu includes two kinds of beans, hot dogs, potato salad, cole slaw, homemade brown bread, pie, coffee and lemonade.
Grandpa’s Garage/Grandma’s Kitchen Sale will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at the West Kennebunk United Methodist Church, 160 Alfred Road, Kennebunk. There will be treasures, junk and collectibles for sale, as well as homemade baked goods. For more information, visit westkennebunkumc.net.
A yard sale to benefit the United Baptist Church’s mission trip to La Romana, Dominican Republic in 2017, will be held at the church at 318 Main St., Saco, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
