LEARN THE FASCINATING STORY of shipbuilding in Brunswick on this walk through the Pennellville Historic District on the southern end of town. Given the popularity of this topic, we are offering two different tracks—18th and 19th century Pennellville with Nancy Pennell or a 1930s-40s era focus with Bob Biette. Both are longtime residents of Pennellville. The tour meets at 1 pm at the Chamberlain Museum at 226 Maine Street in Brunswick where admission will be collected. Participants will carpool from there. Participants should bring water. The tour is limited to 25 people and the group will be split between our two guides. Please call Pejepscot Historical Society at (207) 729-6606 or email info@pejepscothistorical.org before noon on Friday to register. The cost is $5 for non-members and free to PHS members. For more information about this and future tours, visit us at pejepscothistorical.org.
