Saco will take on Lewiston in another losers’ bracket game at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Sunday
The Saco club would get strong pitching from Jeremiah Chessie, Henry Lausier and Josh Penney as the local All- Stars rolled to the win.

Saco’s offense would also come through in the elimination game.
“The kids were able to score nine runs with good hitting and excellent base-running,” said Saco coach Ryan Chessie.
The local squad also put on a show in the field, including an impressive relay from centerfielder Wyatt Benoit to Penney to Lausier to make an out at home and a diving catch by Kyle Lesieur in right field.
Saturday

Old Town would add another run in the second to push the lead to 4-2, but Saco responded with four runs in the third to take a 6-4 lead.
That would be all for Saco’s offense as Old Town held the local All-Stars scoreless the rest of the way. Old Town would tie the game with two runs in the bottom of the third and the District 3 champs would then take the lead for good with two runs in the fifth.
Saco was led by Justin Labelle with three hits and Penney with two hits. Matt Kimball had Saco’s other hit in the loss.
Josh Ney and Penney handled the pitching duties for Saco.
