ALFRED (AP) — Maine State Police are looking for the driver of a sport utility vehicle who they say struck a parked car in Alfred and pushed it into a river.

Police say they were called to the scene Tuesday evening. The owner of the car told state troopers a large, black SUV hit his parked car, pushed it into the Mousam River and fled.

Authorities say the front of the SUV should be damaged.
