THIS PAST SUNDAY, the 38th annual Phippsburg Fireman’s Road Race was held in Phippsburg. With 110 participants, it was the largest race to date. In the photos, beginning on the left and moving clockwise, Zachary Seely approaches the finish line as the first-place male racer in the 5K, Hannah Lyons gets ready to finish the 5K race as the first-place female, and participants run in the one-mile race. Mateo Jacobson finished first in the one-mile with a time of 5:53.50. All of the race profits went to the Phippsburg Fire Department, which is a volunteer group.
