WEST BATH – Frank L. Rose, 74, of Fosters Point Road died Monday, August 15, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Bath on September 5, 1941, a son of Stanley E. and Helen E. (Condon) Rose.

He graduated from Morse High School in the class of 1959. He entered the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1963. He graduated from DeVry Tech University in Chicago and was employed at AT&T in Massachusetts for many years, retiring in 1989. On July 19, 1974 he married Jeanne Thompson.

Frank was a volunteer at the Patten Free Library Genealogy Room and enjoyed taking pictures.

He was a member of the Bath Historical Society and the NRA.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Rose of West Bath, four daughters, Laurie Varnum of Phippsburg, Rebeca Coombs of Bath, Treasa Rose of Bath and Melinda Thompson of Panama City, FL, two sisters, Sandra Ritcheson and her husband Jerry of Lisbon Falls and Penni Thompson of Ohio, six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at

1 PM on Sunday,

August 28, 2016 at the

American Legion on

Congress Ave. in
