Eloise Vitelli for State Senate District 23
In November I’m casting my vote for Eloise Vitelli to be our Senator from Maine Senate District 23, which includes all of Sagadahoc County and Dresden. Here are some reasons why:
• During her last term in the Senate, she helped pass legislation to create quality early-learning opportunities for all Maine four-year-olds.
• She has supported legislation creating capital for the development of small business and innovation. She voted to expand healthcare to cover Maine’s most vulnerable populations.
•As director of program and policy for Maine New Ventures, she participated in the establishment of the Women’s Business Survival Skills Project (funded by the Small Business Administration).
• Since 1983 she has been involved in programs designed to train entrepreneurs.
• And, as we say in Maine, she’s “wicked smaht.”
Her belief that the best antipoverty program is a good job means she will serve in the Senate as an advocate for everyone’s right to economic opportunity. Let’s send her back to the Senate by voting for her Nov. 8.

Thrilled to Support Neilson
I’m thrilled to be supporting Will Neilson for State House district 53, because as a young person I’m committed to voting for candidates who understand we must make a long term investment in Maine’s future.
From both an environmental and economic standpoint, Will understands the importance of sustainable development that includes initiatives like broadband, alternative energies, and affordable housing. These projects not only create well paying jobs, but they ensure that Maine remains competitive in attracting well- educated and motivated young people, who are the future of our communities. Will is also committed to fully funding education from preschool through post-grad to ensure our young people have the best shot possible in today’s economy, and Maine has a 21st century workforce to attract business investment.
Please join me in voting for Will Neilson on November 8th to ensure that our communities are a vibrant place for young people to live, work and play.
