SACO — Aline C. Breton, 88, of Saco, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.

She was born in St. Samuel, Canada, on Dec. 21, 1927, a daughter of Alphonse and Regina (Belanger) Roy. At the age of 16, she moved to the United States.

After school, she was employed by West Point Pepperell, where she met her husband, Eugene. They were married in 1947, and raised eight children.

Her hobbies included word search, crossword puzzles, ceramics and crocheting. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Eugene, on Dec. 27, 2015; one son, Donald; and one daughter, Claudette Benoit.

She is survived by: six children, Simone Drouin and her husband Nichol, Eugene Breton Jr., Rene Breton, Patty Conley and her husband Dennis, Susan Doughty, and Richard Breton and his fiancée Kerry McAuliffe; several sisters; 15 grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be 3- 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, followed by a funeral service at 5:30 p.m. at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James St., Saco. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
