BATH — A Topsham man was arrested by Bath police after allegedly brandishing a gun during a road rage incident on his way to work last week.
The incident was reported at 6:50 a.m. on Aug. 18. Donald Bernier, 53, was charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
Bath Police Lt. Robert Savary said following a road rage incident at the intersection of Centre and Middle streets, words were exchanged with a pedestrian who involved himself in the confrontation. Police said Bernier allegedly pointed the gun at the pedestrian.
Bernier was arrested and bailed from the police station. The gun was being held as evidence.
