BRUNSWICK — Margaret L. Dall, 100, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at her home in Brunswick. She was born, January 3, 1916 in Worcester, MA, to David J. and Stella (Szkaplewicz) Mitchell. Margaret was educated in the Brunswick School system. Prior to WW II, she worked as a L.P.N. at Pownel State School later known as Pineland. During WW II Margaret worked in the electrical shop wiring gyroscopes at Bath Iron Works. While raising her two sons she bred and raised AKC German Shepherds and braided rugs. After raising her sons, Margaret also worked into her 80’s as a ‘“Nanny” in the Greater Brunswick area.

Margaret was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, a member of the Dirigo Grange and a 40 year member of the Maine State Grange.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold H. Dall, a son, Michael Dall, her siblings, Frederick, Richard,

Stanley, Eugene and

David Mitchell,

Van Wyck, and Barbara Morris.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan “Kevin” Dall of Brunswick, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Sat. Sept. 17, at Brackett Funeral Home with Pastor Austin Ganly officiating.
