TOPSHAM — Kelly Lee Kellett, age 52, died in her home Wednesday, August 31, 2016.
She was born September 6, 1963 in Gardiner, ME the daughter of Edward and Norma Benner McDonald. She was a graduate of Mt. Ararat High School, class of 1981, later attending Nasson College.
She had enjoyed basket weaving in her spare time. As well, she spent many vacations at the family’s summer retreat on Cobbosseecontee Lake. She has served as the office manager at Winship Green, Bath for over 16 years. Prior to her recent employment, she had also worked at DMI, Topsham and the Decoy Shop, Bowdoinham.
She is survived by her son, Logan Kellett of Topsham; her daughter, Abby Kellett of Topsham; her brother Dale McDonald and his wife Susan of Nashua, NH; nephew, Daniel E. McDonald.
The family wishes burial services to be private. Interment will be in Bayview Cemetery, Bowdoinham. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Kelly for her children c/o Atlantic Federal Credit Union PO Box 188 Brunswick ME 04011. Checks should be made payable to Abby Kellett.
A memorial gathering will be held 4-6pm Tuesday September 20, 2016 at Winship Green Nursing Center, 51 Winship Street, Bath. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.brackettfuneralhome.com.
