• NEW CHANGES are coming to the Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine ReStore in Topsham. The lobby area is being redesigned to accommodate more merchandise and efforts are underway to enhance the pick-up and processing of donations. “We are so fortunate to have a steady flow of really great donated items from individuals and businesses in our Midcoast area,” said store manager Elizabeth Murray. “With some additional volunteer time dedicated to getting these donated goods out on the sales floor, we can ensure our customers will have more quality merchandise to choose from at the ReStore.” Also, Habitat will be offering extended evening hours and adjusting the days of the week that the retail store is open. Beginning today, ReStore will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Proceeds from the ReStore support Habitat’s mission and housing programs. Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine creates successful homeownership opportunities for families with limited incomes by building sustainable housing, and repairing and weatherizing existing homes. ReStore is located at 126 Main St. and the telephone number is (207) 504-9340.
