She was born December 26, 1918 in Brunswick, the daughter of Henri C. and Eva Favreau Lebel. She attended St. Hon’s School and Brunswick High School.
On October 24, 1942 she married John B. Casey at St. John’s Catholic Church in Brunswick.
She worked in many factories to support her family and retired from Health Tex in Brunswick in 1980. She enjoyed knitting, playing Bingo, walking and taking care of her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, John in 1980, her sister, Juliette in 2002, and an infant sister.
Survivors include her son, Paul and his wife Evelyn of Topsham; her daughters, Louise Leckwold and her husband Brian of Middleburg,
FL and Lucy Hawkins and her husband John of Topsham; two sisters, Georgette Tremblay of Brunswick and Viola DiMatteo of FL; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
At the family’s request there will be no visiting hours. A funeral service will be celebrated at Demers- Desmond Funeral Home, 34 Cushing Street, Brunswick on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11:00am. Burial will take place following the service at St. John’s Cemetery, Brunswick.
