TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School girls eighth-grade soccer team played rival Brunswick to a 1-1 draw on Monday.
Ema Hawkes gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead, with her shot deflecting off the Huskies defense and into the goal.
But, Brunswick managed to tie the game late in regulation.
Mt. Ararat received solid play from Jaden Lohr, Lauren Magno and Abbie Lucas on defense in support of goaltender Hannah Kenney, who made several saves throughout the game.
Alex Gurney and Eliza Libby controlled the midfield for the Eagles.
