BRUNSWICK — U.S. Cellular recently announced the top 50 nominees for the company’s Most Valuable Coach program.
Brunswick High School football coach Dan Cooper is on the list.
Voting is currently under way, with the public deciding the final 15. At the end of the program, two coaches will be recognized on the field at the Under Armour High School All-America game on New Year’s Day. Those two schools will also receive $5,000.
Fans are encouraged to vote once each day by logging onto TheMostValuableCoach.com. The deadline to vote is Monday.
At halftime of Friday’s home contest against Mt. Blue (7 p.m.), a special announcement will ask Brunswick Dragons fans to make their vote.
