TOPSHAM — Hannah Huston finished off a pass from Paige Witwicki with 2:30 left in regulation to lift the Mt. Ararat Middle School “A” field hockey team to a 1-0 victory over Bath on Tuesday.
The Eagles picked up their fifth straight win to start the season.
Bath’s defense, along with goaltender Anastasia Alaboudi (19 saves), kept the Eagles off-balance.
Playing well for Mt. Ararat were Huston, Brynn Charron, Greta Marchildon, Annie Wilkins, Maddie Daulerio, Ashlynn Beebe, Jaimey Weidner, Gracie Morrell, Tess Hahesy, Jazzy Huntsman, Emelia McKenney and Kayli Wing.
Mt. Ararat goalies Leah Newcomb and Bailey Rioux made one clear.
