BIDDEFORD — Rene Roggenbuck (Goffstown, N.H.) dialed up 15 kills with an attack percentage of .565 to help pace the University of New England in a 3-1 women’s volleyball victory over Colby College on Wednesday evening (Oct. 12) at the Harold Alfond Forum. Set scores were 25- 18, 23-25, 25-11, and 25-23.
Additionally, the Nor’easters (12-8) received a double-double of 10 kills and 13 digs out of Maddy Blake (Brookline, N.H.), and nine more winners from Grayson Szczepaniak (Lakewood, Ohio). Erika Sawicki (Wilbraham, Mass.) and Bekah Mather (Sandy, Oregon) each contributed seven kills, and Sawicki matched Blake’s 13 digs. Kristen Falcinelli (Silver Spring, Md.) tallied 45 assists to guide the offense, while Nikki Mathewson (Merrimack, N.H.) registered 19 digs on defense.
