
Biddeford entered the match with a 10-1 record while Scarborough boasted a record of 11-1, and despite the score, the two clubs did not disappoint.
Scarborough would take the first set 30-28, coming back multiple times in the period. The Red Storm would then take the second set 25-21, and won a tough third set 25-23.
Wells 3, Cony 2
WELLS — The Wells volleyball team grinded out a 3-2 win over visiting Cony Thursday evening.
Cony jumped on top, taking the first set 25-16. Wells would take the ensuing two sets 25-22 and 25-23, but dropped the fourth 25-17.
The two teams continued to battle in the fifth round, but the Warriors would end up on top 15-11.
Kait Schott led the Warriors with five kills and 37 assists. Alyssa Loukola also added nine kills and five blocks, while Megan Schneider racked up 14 kills and a block.
The Warriors finish the season at 8-6.
Boy’s Soccer
Scarborough 8, Massabesic 0
WATERBORO — The Red Storm were too much for Massabesic, as they cruised to an 8-0 shutout win Thursday.
Noah Stracqualursi led Scarborough with three goals on the day, while teammates Cameron Thibault, Noah Drapeau, Ben Batoosingh, Owen Tyson and Marc Guerette had one apiece.
