The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for parts of five counties in southern and western Maine.
The warning was issued at 10:39 p.m. Friday for parts of Sagadahoc, Androscoggin, Oxford, Cumberland and York counties. Heavy rain including thunderstorms was moving across the area.
The warning was effective until 1:45 a.m. Saturday.
