
She was born in Falmouth, Maine to Louise and Clifford Blake. She graduated from Falmouth High School and went on to graduate from Mercy School of Nursing in 1948 and maintained those friendships through her death.
She married the love of her life “Joe” who died in the fall of 1998 just a few months shy of their 50th wedding anniversary. Marion and Joe raised four children in Falmouth and Portland, Maine, then retired to Cottonwood Arizona in 1989. In 2009 she moved to Flagstaff.
She leaves behind four children: Kathleen Schulz (David) of Topsham Maine, Pamela Lynch- Van Wyck of Flagstaff, Arizona, Joanne Lynch of Topsham Maine, Thomas Lynch (Vicki) of San Marcos, California; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A rosary will be said for Marion on Friday, November 11 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of St. Charles Borromeo Church. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 12 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic church 132 McKeen Street, Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name for the grounds and gardens at MidCoast Senior Heath Center, 58 Baribeau Drive, Brunswick, Maine 04011.
