Jerry was a kind and wonderful man. He was brilliant when it came to math and sciences. He enjoyed electronics, tinkering with anything mechanical and cultivating his gardens. After years of working on automobiles, he and his brother Jon owned and operated Main Street Garage of Topsham.
With the desire to live a more peaceful farm life, he and his wife Christine moved to Pittsfield in 2007. There he continued to spend time on his hobbies and passions.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 14 years, Christine Lallier; sisters Judy Labbe and Jean Lallier and her husband Rick Pola of Topsham; a brother Jeff Lallier and his wife Carrie, of Topsham; a daughter Ashley Lallier of Harpswell; sons Jay Griffith and his wife Rhonda of McDonald, PA, Joe Griffith of Heidelberg, PA, Joel Lallier of Portland and Will Lallier and his wife Angela of Brunswick; and five grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother Jon Lallier and granddaughter Annabelle Bohan.
Jerry will forever be in the hearts and minds of those who knew him and will be greatly missed.
The family will hold a memorial in his honor on October 30, 2016 at his son’s residence on Katherine Street in Brunswick at 1 p.m.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
