TOPSHAM — The Topsham Parks and Recreation Department is again providing a Learn to Ski/Snowboard program this year.
If you live in Maine there is no reason to not let your child experience skiing and snowboarding at its best.
This year’s 25th anniversary is back at Lost Valley, which will offer children the very best skiing/snowboarding opportunity within 40 minutes from home.
This program is open to children ages 7 through middle school.
Sessions begin Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. and will run for six consecutive weeks. At the completion of the program, skiers/boarders will receive a free ski pass for Lost Valley that may be redeemed during February Vacation.
The cost for the program is $145 for lessons only, and $215 for lessons with rentals.
Also, the Rec. is offering a two-hour ski pass (5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) option for parents and children who have had at least two years of lessons. The cost is $95 for the pass only, $160 for the pass with rentals.
Departure from the Rec. is 4:15 p.m.
Beginning skiers (ages 7- 9) require adult supervision, and the pre-fit day for rentals will take place Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Brunswick Parks and Recreation building at the old Brunswick Naval Air Station.
For more information, call the Topsham Rec. at 725- 1726.
