
She was born in West Springfield, Massach-usetts, May 5, 1918, the daughter of David and Maryann McCulley Johnston.
Merle graduated from the High School of Commerce and the Springfield Business Institute.
She was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Secretary in the Health Department.
Mrs. Paquereau is a member of the United Baptist Church of Saco.
She was preceded in death by: her husband of 50 years Paul F. Paquereau (1992), two sons Donald and Paul Jr., a brother Raymond and two sisters Gladys Ranta and Norma Pringle.
Survivors include a son Brian and his wife Sharon Paquereau of Biddeford, three grandchildren Sharra, Jayna and Rhyan and four nephews.
Private family services will be held by the family.
