Tiffany Barter-Ahearn, 30 years old of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, died Monday, October 31, 2016, as a result of a car accident.

She was born in Bath, Maine, and attended schools in both Wiscasset and Woolwich. She was best described by her friends and family as a “Little Fire Cracker” and lived up to that throughout her life. She could be seen goofing off in public, dancing and signing around the house, or playing outside with her children doing somersaults and back flips. She was always thinking of other people, often picking up things she would find that she thought that someone would want or need. Whenever friends and family came to visit her, she always made sure you had all the comforts of home and were well taken care of, well fed, and had tons of fun the entire visit. She took to motherhood with a natural talent and she was a ferocious advocate for them. Her daughter Angel was the light of her life, her stepdaughter

Marissa was her partner in crime, and her step-son James was her rock.

Tiffany is survived by her husband Leonard Ahearn, beloved 6-year old daughter Angelique Ahearn, step daughter Marissa Ahearn, and step son James Ahearn all of Tellico Plains, TN. Her Mother Monica Sawyer of Richmond, Brothers Cory Barter and his wife Sharaya of Sanford and Kadhar Bailey of Gardiner. Grandparents Robert Barter of West Bath and Jane and James Grindle of Bath. Aunt and Uncle Dawn and Montgomery Barto of Pittston, and Cousin Nicole Barter of Farmingdale.

A memorial service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Monroe County StopE program for victims of Domestic and Sexual violence, 615 Warren Street, Madisonville, TN 37354 or the Maine Coalition to end Domestic Violence, One Easton Court, Box #2, Augusta, ME 04330.
