WESTFIELD, Mass. — Paced by seniors Jasmine Boyle of Brunswick and Hannah Damron, the University of Southern Maine women’s cross country team finished 22nd among the 59 teams that posted a score Saturday at the annual NCAA Division III New England
Regional Championships.
The event was hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park.
Boyle crossed the finish line in 63rd place among the 406 runners, with Damron 10 places further back in 73rd place. Boyle covered the 6K course in a time of 22 minutes, 42.74 seconds. Her finish was a 94 places better than her 2015 finish.
