AUBURN (AP) — Police in Auburn have accused a man of providing heroin that led to an overdose death.
Police say they found 38-year-old Amy Jo Flood dead in a home of an apparent heroin overdose on Monday.
While investigating the overdose, they said they found probable cause to arrest 41-year-old Marc Colello. He was being held on $50,000 bail and was expected to be arraigned Tuesday. It wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer.
Both were from Auburn.
Deputy Chief Jason Moen says Flood’s death marks the 32nd overdose incident and fifth overdose death in Auburn this year.
