BIDDEFORD—Linda A. Tardif, 60, of Biddeford died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

She was born March 1, 1956, in Packington, Quebec, a daughter of Fernand and Jeanne (Cote) Labbe. She came to Biddeford as a child and was educated at St. Andre’s School and Biddeford High School, graduating in the Class of 1976.

Linda had worked as a stitcher at Nike Shoe, John Roberts Clothing, Window Pretties and Hyperlite Mountain Gear; she has also been employed with Southridge Living and Rehabilitation Center.

On June 20, 1997, she married Raymond Tardif in Biddeford.

Linda enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and playing cards.

Preceding her in death were: her parents; her sister, Danielle Labbe; her brother-in-law, Gerard “Gerry” Allie; and her nephew Brian Allie.

Surviving are: her husband, Raymond Tardif of Biddeford; stepson, Marc Tardif and his wife, Peggy, of Hollis; five sisters, Adrienne Beaulieu and her husband, Marcel, Marie Berube and her husband, Ronald, Claudette Allie, Colombe Angers and her husband, Roch, of Biddeford, and Nicole Angers of Portland; and 11 nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m Tuesday at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford.
