Tandem Glass’s annual Holiday FUNdraiser is a party, sale, potluck and fundraiser to support local crafts and raising money for two non-profits — The Good Shepherd Food Bank and Maine Crafts Association. The event will take place at Tandem Glass, 6 Eagle Lodge Lane, Dresden, on Saturday from noon to 7 p.m.
The event will feature eight artists, three live bands, one wood-fired pizza oven, two bakers, and four glass-blowers performing demonstrations. There will be live music, glass blowing demonstrations, locally made hand crafted glass, fiber, blacksmithing, linens, notecards, jewelry and clay. The FUNdraiser is sponsored by The Watershed Tavern.
The event is free, but guests can purchase a glass to enjoy beer from Watershed Tavern. Parking can be a challenge, so guests should come early and carpool with friends and family. For more information, call (207) 737-2781.
