BOOTHBAY HARBOR — Cooper Chiasson scored 21 points and Alex Gorham added 18 as Dirigo beat Boothbay 68-59 in a boys’ basketball game  Friday.

Jeremy St. Germain added 14 points for Dirigo, which erased a 24-9 first-quarter deficit.

Carter Babcock scored 22 points for Boothbay.

A.R. GOULD 55, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 54: Tyrese Collins hit the go-ahead free throw with less than 10 seconds left as  A.R. Gould (2-0) held off the Panthers (1-1) in Yarmouth.

Collins scored 20 points, while Gage Barton added 17 points and 16 rebounds.

Jake Malcom led NYA with 17 points. Chandler Waldron chipped in with 16.


ST. DOMINIC 43, SACOPEE VALLEY 34: Chloe Dwinell scored 15 points as the Saints (1-2) downed the Hawks (1-3) in Hiram.

Allie Veinote added eight points, knocking down two 3-pointers for St. Dominic, which outscored Sacopee 11-3 in the third quarter.

Helen Ruhlin scored 11 points to lead the Hawks.
