BIDDEFORD — Alberie G. Caron, 92, of Biddeford, passed away on Friday Dec. 16, 2016, in Greenville.

He was born in Fort Kent on Sept. 19, 1924, a son of Joseph and Helen (Plourde) Caron. 

Alberie was employed as a machine operator for Maremont Corporation and Saco Defense for many years.

His hobby was collecting Lionel trains and he enjoyed puzzles and his vegetable garden.

He was preceded in death by: his wife of 58 years, Rita (Roy) Caron on March 6, 2009.

He is survived by: two daughters, Suzanne D. Wingate and her husband Gerry of Lexington, Kentucky, and Diane Edmondson and her husband George of Greenville, with whom he resided, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Bernadette Kozakewicz of Stratford, Connecticut and Irma Floyd of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, one sister in law Margie Caron of Westbrook and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco.
