In addition to packing boxes, the last few days have been spent sorting, counting, and valuing all the toys that came in from the Taste of Maine’s Community Toy Drive, assisted by the United Bikers of Maine. There was over 700 items, including four bicycles and a beautiful Schwinn tricycle. There was also several articles of clothing that we are unable to use. These will be donated to another cause. Rest assured, they will be useful somewhere and we do thank everyone who participated in this event. The estimated value was around $5300!
