Last Blast on Saturday
OOB365 will present the Last Blast 2016 New Year’s Eve bonfire and fireworks display celebration at 5 p.m. Saturday on the beach at the Palace Playland area.
The event will feature hot cocoa, marshmallow toasting pits, kettle corn, cotton candy, french fries and music by DJ Joeyoke.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their live Christmas trees to use as fuel for the fire.

New Year’s around town
The second annual New Year’s Eve Kennebunk will take place Saturday at various locations along Main Street.
There will be live music at the First Parish Church, free admission to the Brick Store Museum from 9 to 11 p.m., ice skating at the Waterhouse Center, indoor board games and outdoor fire pits at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church.
All events are free and open to the public.
An Early Bird Ball Drop will begin at 9 p.m. from the bell tower of the First Parish Church, and the Wild Blueberry Ball Drop will ring in the New Year at midnight.
