
She was born Aug.t 23, 1936, in Biddeford, a daughter of Arthur and Eva (Lambert) Boisvert and was educated locally, graduating from St. Joseph High School in the Class of 1955.
On March 18, 1967 she married Richard Havey in Kennebunk.
As a young woman she worked as an insurance underwriter, leaving that work to care for her family. When the children were older she worked as a graphic artist for the Journal Tribune, retiring in 2000.
With her husband she enjoyed going to the casinos and traveling to such places as Las Vegas and Washington, D.C. She also cherished the time she spent caring for her grandchildren.
Lorraine was preceded in death her husband, Richard on Jan. 20, 2011. Also preceding her in death were two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by: her son, William D. Havey; her daughter, Lynn M. Paquette and her husband, Steven; granddaughter, Abbie Paquette; and grandson, Evan Paquette, all of Biddeford.
Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will be held 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco. To share condolences online, please visit HopeMemorial.com.
