
Born in Bath, Maine Nov. 11, 1933. The daughter of Guy and Helen N. (Pereau) McDorr.
In 1950 fate matched Mary with Roger C. Riendeau of Brunswick. After a 2 year courtship the couple wed in June of 1952 in a beautiful but simple ceremony.
The following 65 years of marriage brought 5 sons as well as many triumphs and challenges to Roger and Mary as they raised their family and renovated their 19th century home together on Jordan Avenue.
Mary is predeceased by her oldest child Roger.
Mary is well known as a former prominent member of ‘The Evergreens’ where she worked tirelessly hosting community dinners and fundraisers for the club.
She enjoyed many hobbies including ceramics, flower gardening and Bingo. She was an excellent baker famous for her blueberry buckle and chocolate cream pie.
She was the corner stone of her family. Her 5 sons gave Mary much pride as well as 10 grandchildren followed by 10 great-grandchildren. Mary loved them all.
She enjoyed a full life, had many friends and was blessed with a devoted and loyal husband to the end.
Her feisty spirit will be missed by all who knew her and will never be forgotten.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Brackett Funeral Home, Brunswick.
