
He was born in Waterbury, CT on November 11, 1947, the son of the late Clifford R. and Florence Beaulieu Stewart. He graduated from Brunswick High School in Maine with the class of 1966. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, working as a jet mechanic. He was employed by Truelove & Maclean as a tool and die maker for 35 years, retiring in 2002. He married Ann M. Conte on October 17, 1970 in Keyport, NJ. He enjoyed many years of duckpin bowling, playing in various leagues with his son Matt at Perillo’s and Highland Bowl in Cheshire.
Survivors include his beloved wife Ann, his daughter Jennifer and her husband Greg of Big Flats, NY, son Matthew and his girlfriend Traci of Naugatuck, brother William H. Stewart of Livermore Falls, Maine, stepbrother Donald LaCasse of Brunswick, Maine, uncle David Stewart of Prospect, CT, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and stepmother Florence LaCasse Stewart.
He was loved by all.
There will be a mass on Friday, January, 13th, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 338 North Main Street, Naugatuck, CT.
