GORHAM — The Little East Conference announced its weekly awards for women’s indoor track and field Monday afternoon and three members of the University of Southern Maine team — seniors Jasmine Boyle of Brunswick, Molly Gibeault and freshman Adela Kalilwa — were named as recipients of weekly honors.

Boyle was picked as the Track Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career at USM.

Competing at the Reggie Poyau Invitational held at Brandeis University, Boyle won the 5,000-meter run by more than a minute with a career-best time of 18:25.13 seconds. Boyle’s time qualified her for the New England Division III Championships next month.

USM will travel to Brunswick this coming Saturday (1 p.m.) to compete in the Bowdoin College Invitational.
