BATH — The Morse High School girls jayvee basketball team only kept up for so long in a recent 52-30 setback against Oceanside. After trailing by just a point (12- 11) after the first frame, the Shipbuilders fell behind 25- 15 at the break and 36-24 at the end of three.
Zoe Sreden led the way for Morse (3-9), scoring a teamhigh eight points. Paige Faulkingham and Dori Kulis split 14, Marija Medenica had four and Eliza McKinnery and Ali Donovan each had two. The Shipbuilders were 4-of-8 from the line.
Kassidy Robinson (11 points) and Sarah Dorr (10 points) paced Oceanside, which was 15-of-32 at the stripe.
