LOCAL GIRL SCOUTS are now officially selling cookies. The Midcoast and Longreach service units held a Cookie Rally Jan. 8 to kick off the 100th year of Girl Scouts selling cookies. Pictured are the Scouts who attended “Cookie Camp” where they participated in activities to learn about selling cookies. Cookies can be ordered through local Scouts through February or at a cookie booth in March. The new variety this year is Girl Scout S’mores. Cookies are $4 per box. There will be a limited supply available of the Trios, which is this year's gluten free offering at $5 a box.
