LEWISTON — The Bates College women’s basketball team cruised to a 71-42 victory of UMaine-Farmington on Tuesday.
Senior Allie Coppola broke the Bobcats’ career rebounds record of 885 held by former All-American Olivia Zurek.
Junior Nina Davenport of Freeport had a game-high 24 points in the win. She added seven rebounds and four steals. Junior Lyse Henshaw of Brunswick chipped in nine points.
Former Mt. Ararat High School standout Sara Lamb had two points for the Beavers (3-15).
Bates (6-13) hosts second ranked Amherst on Friday at 7 p.m.
