BIDDEFORD — Celeste Inman Vaughn, 67 years, of Biddeford died Feb. 5, 2017, in the loving care of her family and close friends.

Celeste was born Nov. 11, 1949, in Bryan, Texas, a daughter of Major and Leslie (Turner) Inman. She attended college at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She took great pride in being a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Celeste enjoyed cooking, gardening, stenciling and antiquing, all pastimes that helped her become a great homemaker and mother. She loved taking care of her home and family, and especially enjoyed caring for her granddaughter, Skyler. A tiny woman with a huge spirit, her favorite saying was “Where there’s a will there’s a way.” She filled her home with messages of love and kindness.

Celeste was preceded in death by her husband, Guildo Beaulieu, and by her sister, Kimberly Ann Inman.

She is dearly missed and lovingly remembered by: her sons, Miles Vaughn and his significant other, Jill Cressey, of Biddeford and Mathew Vaughn of Saco; her brother, Ed Love and his wife, Debbie, of Houston, Texas; her sister, Stephanie Elliott and her husband, Bob, of Dallas, Texas; her granddaughter, Skyler Vaughn; her dear friend, Susie Wellington, who helped her in so many ways; and this list would not be complete without mentioning her beloved dog, Dooney.

Friends may visit on from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk, ME. A memorial service celebrating Celeste’s life will be held at 2 p.m. immediately following the visitation, led by Rev. C. McAllister “Mac” Vaughn. Interment will follow at a later date in Texas.
