BOSTON — The Bates College women’s track and field team made Friday at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational a productive one, breaking three team records on the day at the non-scoring meet.
Senior Allison Hill of Brunswick broke her own Bates’ 200-meter record, and ran a leg of the 4 x 400 relay in a time of 3:54.99 to set another mark.
Hill ran the 200 in 24.92, cutting .53-seconds off the mark she set on Jan. 27. The Bates record held for 36 years.
Bates next competes in the New England Division III Indoor Championships this upcoming Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. at MIT.
