Arlene F. Stevens died peacefully on February 7, 2017 with her family by her side. Born in Winthrop on October 21, 1932, the daughter of William and Ethel (Pratt) Brown. Arlene grew up in Bath and graduated from Morse High School, after graduation, she was employed several places until she found a job she loved working at the First National Grocery, where for quite some time she worked in the meat packing dept.

Arlene enjoyed traveling, going out to eat with her dear friends, visiting with everyone who was close to her and especially her dog “Jewel”.

Arlene was an active member of the New Jerusalem Church in Bath.

She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Robert E. Brown and her loving husband Simon “Steve” after many many happy years of marriage.

Arlene is survived by 2 sons, Robert W. Stevens and his wife Catherine of Wiscasset, and Harold R. Stevens of Whitefield; 2 grandsons, James E Stevens and his wife Missy of Topsham and William Stevens and his wife Susie of Vacaville, CA; She is also survived by the “Lights of her Life” her 2 great grandsons, Hudson James and Simon Thomas of Brunswick, as well as many nieces and nephews.
