
She was born July 3, 1925, in Biddeford, a daughter of George and Imelda (Lariviere) Souliere and was educated locally.
On Feb. 20, 1943, she married Robert R. Lariviere in St. Raphael Church in Kittery.
She worked for 23 years as a certified nurse’s aide at Notre Dame Hospital and Notre Dame Unit in Biddeford, retiring in 1977.
Jeannette was preceded in death by: Robert, her husband of 70 years, on March 21, 2013; her son John H. Lariviere on December 30, 2012; a brother, Lucien Souliere on March 28, 2011; and a sister, Claire B. Bedard on April 5, 2012.
She is survived by: a son, Richard D. Lariviere of San Francisco, California; three daughters, Claudette Landry of Greenville, South Carolina, Joan Brown and her husband, Mel of Ocala, Florida, and Suzanne Gowen and her husband, Robert of Clarksburg ,West Virginia; a brother, Maurice A. Souliere and his wife, Carol; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the St. Anne Chapel of St. Joseph Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
