Evergreen Credit Union hired Howard Lowell as vice president of marketing.
Previously, Lowell was a marketing and management executive with associations serving the mortgage banking industry in Massachusetts.

 

Spinnaker Trust hired Chris Whitney and Laura Greenstein to new positions in its employee stock ownership plan practice and portfolio management services, respectively.
Whitney was hired as the ESOP client adviser. He previously worked as a retirement planning consultant for Transamerica, servicing clients throughout New England.
Greenstein was hired as an assistant portfolio manager. She was previously a financial adviser at Merrill Lynch.

Camden National Bank announced new leaders of its Bangor Commercial group and Downeast Retail group.
James Adsit has joined the bank as senior vice president and director of commercial banking for the Bangor and Downeast Regions.
Adsit most recently was senior vice president, healthcare group New England Team Leader for the First Niagara Bank N.A.

Blaine Jones was named the new retail regional manager for Camden National Bank in the Down East region. Jones most recently served as regional market manager for Bangor Savings Bank

Carl Marsh has joined Camden Financial Consultants as assistant vice president, financial consultant.
Previously, Marsh was associate wealth manager at TRSS Wealth Management.

 

Control Point Inc. recently hired Jack Schifano as an account manager.
Schifano brings extensive technology experience with a variety of platforms. He previously served in numerous sales, account management and project management roles, including at General Electric.

PROMOTIONS
Evergreen Credit Union announced promotions to the senior management team, effective immediately.
Timothy Verreault will serve as the new senior vice president/chief operating officer. Verreault has been with the credit union for 10 years, most recently as interim president.

 

Nathan Davis was named vice president of information technology. Previously, he was manager of the IT department

 

 

BOARD APPOINTMENTS
Nicholas Brouillette, market sales manager for KeyBank Mortgage’s Maine and Vermont markets, was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Maine Association of Realtors Foundation.
