
She was born in Indiana Jan. 21, 1948 the daughter of Robert and Irene Gould Schlesinger.
Linda moved to Connecticutt as a young child and was raised in the Hartford area. After graduation, she moved to Long Island, Texas, Georgia and Indiana.
Linda worked several years in security at Spencer Press. She moved to Maine in 1994 and enjoyed reading, cooking.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish.
Survivors include her husband Edward, of 20 years’ marriage, of Saco; a son, Shawn Clark of Knightstown, Indiana; a daughter Dawn Chafin of Indianapolis, Indiana; a brother, Robert Schlesinger and his wife Gayle of Massachusetts; a sister, Barbara Schlesinger of Vermont; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A memorial funeral mass will be held Tuesday March 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity, 271 Main St, Saco. Burial will be at a later date.
Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home and Cremation 365 Main St, Saco are entrusted with the arrangements.
