BIDDEFORD — Rosemary (Dodge) Briner, 70, passed away on March 17, 2017 at Southern Maine Health Care after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 18, 1947 and spent most of her life in the Kennebunk and Wells area.
She is predeceased by her parents, John R. Dodge, Sr. and Evelyn F. (Morse) Dodge Bridges; her husband, Lloyd “Junior” Briner; her brother, John R. Dodge, Jr.; and a sister, Donna (Dodge) Franco.
Surviving are two sisters, Joanne (Dodge) Huff of Wells, and Beverely Dodge of Poughkeepsie, New York; and several nieces and nephews.
Although Rosemary did not have children, she had a special collie dog named Peanut and two birds, Billy and Tweety. She enjoyed Sunday drives, nature, reading and riding her bicycle to Wells to visit her sister.
Services will be private. Those wanting to show an expression of sympathy are asked to consider sending a memorial contribution to the Animal Welfare Society in West Kennebunk, Maine.
