THE TIMES RECORD’S MICHELLE BICKFORD AND MARK SHIPSEY were among the hundreds of participants at this weekend’s Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraising event at Yankee Lanes in Brunswick. The ’80s-themed event, which spanned Friday and Saturday, raised money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick, and is the nonprofit’s largest fundraising event of the year. The organization facilitates nearly 300 youth/mentor matches in the Midcoast, but there are still about 15 children on a waiting list.
