BIDDEFORD  — Carol Lessard, 54, of Biddeford died unexpectedly on Friday, March 31, 2017, at the home of her daughter.  

She was born Feb. 28, 1963, in Biddeford, a daughter of Herbert and Edith (Saucier) Michaud. She was educated locally and was a graduate of Biddeford High School. 

She went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and Medical Technician in nursing homes. Most recently she had been employed at Seal Rock in Saco, leaving there due to disability.

Carol was a member of Seacoast Chapel in Saco. She enjoyed knitting and other handcrafts, bingo and jigsaw puzzles.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph Lessard, in 2015, and her son, Justin Lessard, in 2011.

She is survived by: her daughter, Amanda Lessard and her husband, Damien Weaver, of Biddeford; five brothers, Larry and Roland Michaud, both of Biddeford, Paul Michaud and his wife, Linda, of Arundel, Daniel Michaud and his wife, Bridget, of Biddeford, Rickie Michaud and his wife, Deleta, of Douglasville, Georgia; a sister, Jacqueline Morse and her husband, Gordon, of Biddeford; two grandchildren, Johnathan and Hannah Weaver; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the Seacoast Chapel, 228 Buxton Road in Saco.
